Grant B. Walsh, MBA, C.Dir, Managing Partner and CEO
Grant Walsh is an internationally recognized executive leader of service, healthcare, and health-related organizations. He has a proven track record in public and private, for-profit and not-for-profit complex organizations. William C. In addition to his role as the Managing Partner and CEO of EC Murphy Walsh, Mr. Walsh has served as Executive-In-Residence and Adjunct Professor at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. His areas of expertise include strategy and governance.
Grant Walsh was the President and CEO of St. Peter’s Health System, transforming the organization from a single-site hospital into the regional market leader for integrated healthcare services. He was also a transformational leader with The ServiceMaster Company where he served as Executive Vice President of ServiceMaster Management Services. ServiceMaster was the world’s leading management outsourcing company with $7.4 billion in revenues. Walsh was accountable for $550 million in revenue, 30,000 employees and 10,000 client properties in 44 States.
In addition to an impressive executive career, Mr. Walsh served as Senior Principal of E. C. Murphy, VHA, LLC, the management consulting subsidiary of VHA, Inc.
Mr. Walsh has served on many Boards of Directors and as Chairman of six. He is a Past Chairman of the Royal Botanical Gardens and of the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra. Effective governance is one of his particular areas of interest and expertise.

He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Illinois University. He has also pursued specialized study at Harvard University, Cornell University, and the University at Buffalo, a campus of the State University of New York.
